I don't want to sound overly cocky or arrogant here, but the Mets are the best home team in baseball. Nobody wins at home like we do. Now, if only all of our games could be played at Citi Field, then we could win a championship.
We have Hisanori Takahashi going on the hill today; he got roughed up in his last start, so he will be looking for vengeance. Jeff Francoeur, suddenly (and shockingly), is swinging a hot bat again. David Wright isn't striking out.
Of course though, with this post, I probably just jinxed my team. But what am I worried about? We're the home team. Perhaps it's fitting that the pocket schedule says We Believe in Home Field Advantage.
Yeah, we do.
