So the Mets lost by a score of 1-0.

Jon Niese pitched 7 innings of 1-run ball. He didn't deserve to lose. The offense did nothing spectacular. David Wright struck out twice. But that's about it.

I hate the 1-0 losses more than the 10-0 losses. At least with a 10-0 loss, you can say, "Well, Niese sucked. We deserved to lose."

But no. We lost 1-0. And instead of placing the blame on one player, you have to pretty much blame the whole team, except for the one guy who actually did their job, in this case, Jon Niese.

I want a win today. Pretty please?

Mike Pelfrey has been scratched from today's start because of his neck. This sucks. Hisanori Takahashi will be pitching in his place.
